In this 18 minute video I walk photographers through every step of the process of how to successfully develop black and white roll film. I start by providing a summary of the development steps and then I literally walk you through each step of the process. The process is the same for 35mm and medium format.
You may also want to refer to the film page when considering which film to use or the development page in addition to this video. If you need help choosing a black and white film developer then you may want to refer to my article on that topic. You will likely benefit from the many articles that have been tagged as “darkroom“.
Be sure to leave your comments or suggestions at the bottom of this article. If you like my articles be sure to use the “Like” or “Share” buttons located at the bottom of each article so we can get more feedback from other photographers.
Post your traditional darkroom prints to my new Flickr group dedicated to analog photographs in a digital world.
